The New Year calls for a new pierogi, of course! Introducing Braddock’s first pierogi of 2015, an enticing recipe for good luck and prosperity in 2015: Pulled Pork Pierogies with Black-eyed “Beans and Greens” and a Mustard Tomato Verjus. We wish everyone a very Happy & Healthy New Year and we look forward to unveiling the exciting culinary adventures we have in store for the New Year!
On Thursday, January 8th, we are proud to host Grow Pittsburgh’s inaugural “Let Us Eat” event of 2015! We invite all of our esteemed patrons to dine for a cause and enjoy dinner at Braddock’s on the 8th, as 10% of the proceeds will be donated to Grow Pittsburgh’s continued efforts to educate the local community in urban agriculture and the paramount importance of gardening and agriculture as part of a vibrant, healthy community. This cause is close to our hearts as we strive to cultivate our menu from the freshest local and seasonal ingredients available. The month continues with one of the most delectable holidays we can think of, National Hot Pastrami Day on January 14th! Celebrate the meaty goodness that is house-cured pastrami with our famed Pittsburgh Reuben, otherwise known as “The Big Ugly”, a moniker that has been affectionately earned from its haphazard appearance and sheer enormity. This legendary sandwich pays homage to the annual day of pastrami hotness in epic bites of shaved pastrami, kielbasa, sauerkraut, and gruyere, Russian dressing, topped off with Braddock’s famous pierogies. Appetites are most certainly required!
