Braddock’s American Brasserie, the downtown restaurant known for their Pittsburgh inspired cuisine, has announced a new seasonal menu that integrates even more local flavors and ingredients into their dishes.
Leveraging the success of Braddock’s Small Plates including the Braised Short Rib Pierogies, Lobster Gnocchi, and Strip District Kielbasa, the team has introduced additional Pittsburgh dishes onto the new menu.
“We wanted to bring more local flavors into the restaurant,” said Dean Gress, Executive Chef at Braddock’s. “We are introducing some new takes on classic Pittsburgh recipes that use ingredients sourced from local vendors like Strip District Meats, Ricci’s Italian Sausage, the Pennsylvania Macaroni Company, and Mediterra Bakehouse.”
Some of the most exciting additions to the menu are the Braddock’s Pierogies of the Day which range from Wild Mushroom to Shrimp and Prosciutto to—the most unique yet—BBQ Chicken. Braddock’s signature Braised Short Rib Pierogies will continue to be available every day of the week.
The dessert menu has also included new additions, including a Braddock’s take on “S’Mores,” Gourmet Pretzels, and even a Housemade Candy Bar, a dessert featuring a mixture of peanut butter and toffee coated in milk-chocolate accompanied by peanut brittle and a glass chocolate garnish.
