October marks the return our Duck & Pumpkin Pierogi!   Last year, this fall-inspired pierogi earned national acclaim among ZAGAT’s Top 25 Must Try Pumpkin Dishes for Fall!   Speaking to his seasonal inspiration, Chef Jason says, “The hearty warmth and sweetness of the pumpkin really enhances the savory duck flavor, and the two ingredients play off of each other to create a perfectly balanced dish highlighted by an earthy richness that really celebrates fall flavors.”

Speaking of Pierogies, tune in to Pittsburgh Today Live on October 14th as Chef Jason makes a return appearance, spilling his secrets for the perfect pillowy peirogi to the KDKA morning crew, in anticipation of this year’s 2nd Annual Pittsburgh Pierogi Fest on October 18th at Stage AE in the North Shore from Noon-5PM.  We’re celebrating the City of Dumplings with not one, not two, but FIVE pierogi selections and sure-fire crowd pleasers!  Attendees can choose from the following house-made pierogies all day:

  • Sweet Tea Chicken & Grilled Corn
