Tradition is as important as the holidays themselves, and no one knows that better than Chef Jason Shaffer. When he was three, Chef Jason helped his great-grandmother build a gingerbread house, and he continued it every year after. This year, Chef, along with his son Christian, who joined the tradition at the age of two, will be creating his gingerbread house and putting it on display December 9.
Come see the 3-by-4-gingerbread house, made of 100 pounds of gingerbread, 60 pounds of icing, and 70 pounds of candy for decoration.
Chef Jason’s culinary tradition will continue Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Braddock’s will feature slow roasted prime rib, Brussels sprouts, and traditional Yorkshire pudding.
Braddock’s will also feature a pre-fixe New Year’s Eve menu with a glass of champagne for $100 a couple.
