The summer might be over but our September is hotter than ever.  To the delight of epicurean enthusiasts everywhere, we’ve got quite a line-up this month…starting with September 2nd’s National Grits for Breakfast Day.  Who doesn’t love grits in the morning?  Chef Jason certainly does!  So much, in fact, that he’s sharing his beloved grits recipe with you!  The perfect complement to that bacon & eggs kind of morning!  Enjoy!

Our next Chef’s Dinner is September 17th at 6:30pm!  Call to reserve your spot for this special 4-course experience hosted by our very own Chef Jason.  The highlight of the evening might just be Chef’s perfected Blanquette de Veau (see pic attached), a quintessential French dish that is equal parts luxurious elegance and classic comfort food.  You decide!

The palate-pleasing celebration continues on September 19th when you’re invited to share in our passion for all things PIEROGI at this year’s Pierogi Fest!  Chef and his team are set to deliver the best ‘rogies yet.  This year’s ensemble includes: Apple PIErogi, Sweet Tea Pierogi and 5 Cheese Killer Potato Pierogi.

Just in case we haven’t wet your appetite enough, last month we invited the city’s most discerning palates to a special New Menu Blogger Tasting to enjoy all of our new French-inspired menu items!  Special thanks to Yum Yum Pittsburgh Blog, The Food Tasters Blog, Entertainment Central Pittsburgh Blog and Downtown Pittsburgh Life for joining us for this special occasion.  Here’s what some of the Burgh’s most passionate foodies had to say about their experience:
