Each year we look forward to participating at the annual Savor Pittsburgh (http://savorpgh.com) event to benefit Magee-Womens Research Institute and Foundation’s fight to end prematurity.  This year’s August 21st event was made even more special as Braddock’s received the coveted People’s Choice Award with the crowd-favorite Bourbon Candied Pork Chops & Drunken Peaches and Cream!   We take pride in creating delicious food & memorable experiences for our beloved patrons and are so thankful for this recognition.   Being awarded as top dining choice is the ultimate honor for us and to help support such a wonderful cause makes it all the more meaningful!   Visit http://www.mwrif.org to learn more about how you too can get involved.

September brings us to another exciting fundraising event in the Burgh – “A Taste of Grow Pittsburgh” on September 21st from 2:00pm-5:00pm at Pittsburgh Center for the Arts in Shadyside.  We’re honored to participate as one of Grow PIttsburgh’s (http://www.growpittsburgh.org) restaurant partners that purchase locally grown produce.  We love any opportunity to encourage community involvement and educate individuals on the importance of urban agriculture and its many benefits to our society.  The event truly speaks to our commitment to supporting local farms and using fresh, local ingredients in our menu selections – and Chef Jason will be featuring a tasting that really celebrates this.  Guests are invited to indulge in organic foods, sip local beer and wine, and enjoy live local music.
